BARINGS, SAINGHIN-EN-MÉLANTOIS: EXTENSION OF A MULTI-TEMPERATURE LOGISTICS BUILDING

RÉALIZATION OF MULTI-TEMPERATURE STORAGE CELLS

This project toextension of a business building is the result of close collaboration with Barings, a major player in international logistics real estate.

Total 5 300 m2 of expansion, the project includes the construction of multi-temperature storage cells ranging from 2°C to -24°C, as well as loading docks designed to maintain the cold chain. In addition to the storage areas, a service area was added to the original building to accommodate new modern, bright and functional modern, bright and functional.

This project is a successful example of co-design between Barings and ING2K, acting as developer-builder on this project. The result: an existing structure optimized to perfectly match the functional needs of the end user.

The building has been awarded BREEAM very good certification.
