CREATION OF MULTI-TEMPERATURE STORAGE CELLS

This project to extend a business building was the result of close collaboration with Barings, one of the major players in international logistics property.

The 5,300 m2 extension included multi-temperature storage cells ranging from 2°C to -24°C and loading bays designed to maintain the cold chain. In addition to the storage areas, a service area was added to the original building to accommodate new, modern, bright and functional offices and social areas.

This project is a successful example of meticulous co-design between Barings and ING2K, acting as developer and builder on this project. The result: an existing building optimised to perfectly match the functional needs of the end user.

The building was awarded BREEAM very good certification.
